Shipping Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

EverHaven sells outdoor wellness products that are built to order and shipped by freight straight from each manufacturer. Every manufacturer crates, ships, and delivers a little differently, so this page has two parts: our general shipping terms, and a section for each brand we carry. If a brand section differs from the general terms, the brand section applies to your order.

General Shipping Terms

Free shipping

Orders of $3,500 or more ship free by freight within the contiguous United States. Shipping for smaller orders and accessories is calculated at checkout. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, and other remote locations require a custom freight quote, which we will send you before your order is processed.

Estimated delivery times

Each product page shows an estimated delivery time that includes production and freight transit. These are estimates, not guarantees. Production starts after your order is confirmed with the manufacturer. Factories and carriers can run behind during busy periods, and we will tell you promptly if your timeline changes. You will receive tracking information by email once your order ships.

How freight delivery works

  • Large items travel by freight carrier, usually on a tractor-trailer. The carrier will call you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please return that call promptly.
  • Unless a brand section below says otherwise, delivery is curbside: the driver brings the shipment to the curb or the end of your driveway. Drivers do not carry items into your backyard, garage, or home, and do not unbox or assemble.
  • Whether a liftgate is available depends on the size of the crate and the brand. See the brand section for your product.
  • Please make sure a full-size tractor-trailer can reach your property and turn around safely. If it cannot, tell us before your order ships.

Charges that can apply

Charges from a manufacturer or carrier that result from a customer request or delay, such as storage, redelivery, address changes after dispatch, equipment for unloading, or refused deliveries, are passed through to the customer at the actual amount charged. The specific fees for each brand are listed in the brand sections below. We will tell you the amount before charging you, and we may choose to waive or reduce a fee at our discretion.

Damaged or incorrect shipments

  1. If you can, inspect the packaging while the driver is still there. Please do not refuse a delivery without contacting us first, since refused deliveries can lead to fees and delays.
  2. If you see damage, follow the steps in the brand section for your product.
  3. Take clear photos of the packaging, the shipping labels, and any damaged or missing parts.
  4. Email support@everhavensaunas.com with your order number and photos as soon as possible after delivery. We will work with the manufacturer on replacement parts or a replacement unit where applicable.

Before delivery day

  • Check the crate dimensions and weight on your product page.
  • Make sure the road and driveway are wide enough for the truck, and look for low wires, branches, and eaves.
  • Decide how the crate will be unloaded and book any equipment or helpers ahead of time.
  • If you hire a third party, confirm the date, time, and location with them.
  • Prepare a level, safe spot for the crate, and keep children and pets away from the delivery area.

Dundalk Leisurecraft

Applies to Dundalk Leisurecraft products, including Canadian Timber saunas, barrel saunas, hot tubs, cold plunges, and accessories. Orders ship from the manufacturer in Ontario, Canada.

Delivery method Freight carrier, usually an 18-wheel tractor-trailer. Delivery is curbside or to the end of your driveway only. The driver will not unload the crate and will not back the truck into your driveway.
Free shipping, Alaska and Hawaii Orders of $3,500 or more ship free within the contiguous United States. Deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii carry an additional freight charge, currently $950, which we will confirm in your quote before your order is processed.
Crate size and weight Crates range from about 6 to 14 feet long and about 800 to 1,600 pounds, depending on the model. The exact crate size for your model is on its product page.
Liftgate Crates 84 inches (7 feet) or shorter: a liftgate may be available to lower the crate to the ground. Crates longer than 84 inches: there is no liftgate, and you are responsible for getting the crate off the truck.
Unloading options
  1. Best option: rent a forklift or telehandler with fork extensions. The crate must be lifted from its end.
  2. Hire a local trucking, flatbed, or tilt tow company to pick the crate up from the freight terminal and deliver it to you.
  3. Unload by hand with a crew, either from the truck or after opening the crate (not recommended, since it takes more time and people).
Tilt tow arranged by the manufacturer If you cannot arrange unloading yourself, the manufacturer can arrange a tilt tow truck for a fee of $1,450.
Freight transit time Typically 7 to 14 days after the order ships from the factory, to Florida and the West Coast. Other regions may vary, and the carrier will confirm timing when they call to schedule delivery. Production time is separate and is listed on each product page.
Delivery appointment The carrier will call you to schedule delivery. Please return calls quickly, tell the carrier how the crate will be unloaded, and provide an alternate phone number if needed.
Storage fees If delivery is delayed because of the customer (for example, an unreturned call, no unloading plan, or an unreachable contact) and the carrier charges terminal storage, those fees are passed on to you. Storage is a minimum of $35 per day.
Changing the delivery address Free before the order leaves the factory. $350 after it has left the factory.
If the crate arrives damaged You may accept the shipment. Photograph the damage and write "Crate arrived open/damaged - Possible Hidden Damage" on the driver's Bill of Lading (BOL). Then contact us right away, ideally the same day, with your order number and photos of the damaged pieces so the manufacturer can send replacement pieces as quickly as possible.
Freight insurance The manufacturer covers freight insurance. Damage is resolved through the manufacturer, usually by sending replacement pieces.
